Important information on posting a problem

To make sure there are currently no service problems, you can check our statuspage. If everything is looking good, you can use our forum to post your problem. We read these forums as well. Although it is not our main form of support, we do try to answer questions and solve problems. If you want a faster reply or need to share sensitive information, use our helpdesk.

Before we can help you with a problem, we need a good understanding of what the problem is. To help us understand, we would like to have as detailed information about the problem as possible. So please try to answer the following(or more) questions:

  • What is the problem exactly? Try to be as accurate as possible, "The app stops working when I try to switch from the list to the map view" is much more helpful then "The app crashes".
  • What happened leading up to the crash? For instance: what buttons did you press, what was the action you were trying to perform.
  • What device are you using and how is it connected? Describe if you are using a phone or a tablet, and what brand. And were you connected to the WiFi or to your cellular provider.
  • Can you reproduce the problem all the time? If you do the same thing you were trying todo again, does the problem come up every time or just sometimes?

If you don't know all the answers to the above questions, that is no problem we will still try to solve the problem but it may take a bit longer. You can share more information if you want, the more the better.
